Studied dance pedagogy at the Janáček Academy in Brno. She continued her studies in Holland at Rotterdam´s Dance Academy and at Amsterdam´s musicals school.
In 1992 she won the first place in Disco dance formation in Prostějov and in 1998 the award for the best choreography in the national choreographic competition in Olomouc. In 1987 she founded her own dance group Crazy Dancers with whom she participated in a video clip and the tour of MC Erik&Barbara. In the long term, she was a member of UNO dance group and performed in Germany and Switzerland. She also worked as a solo dancer in the Bratislava Dance Theatre and Ballet in Prague. Then she participated in choreographies of Libor Vaculik, Pavel Smok, Bruce Tylor, Jan Durovcik and last but not least Jan Kodet.
In 2001 she founded her own dance style "Streetfunk", which is becoming more and more popular. At present she is mostly working as a choreographer and director of her own dance group IF. Leona has choreographed many of the very known musicals such as Galileo, Excalibur or Elixire of Life. She also worked closely with TV NOVA on choreography of 10th anniversary Gala evening and she was the only official choreographer of the second series of "Czech Superstar".
